Branch Manager – Electrical/Plumbing/HVAC Distributor - Two positions available
Locations: One position in Ithaca & and one position in Batavia

Booth Inc., family-owned and operated, and a leading wholesaler/distributor of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, steel, and industrial supplies, is seeking two dedicated and experienced Branch Managers for our Ithaca and Batavia, NY locations. With over 150 years of history, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and sourcing hard-to-find parts for our customers. Position Overview:
We are searching for two motivated individuals with expertise in Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing, one will lead our Ithaca branch and the second will lead the Batavia branch. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive approach to managing daily operations.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- College degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
- Previous experience in customer service and management is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle diverse customer situations with professionalism and tact
- Proven ability to collaborate with employees, management, factory representatives, and product agencies
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee incoming and outgoing counter sales calls
- Provide expert guidance on product selection and customer inquiries
- Ensure accurate and timely handling of customer requests, including order entry, pricing, expediting, and billing
- Resolve disputes and warranty claims promptly and effectively
- Manage daily branch operations, including warehouse oversight, stock transfers, and product flow for local deliveries
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime as needed

PLUMBING-HEATING/ELECTRIC COUNTER SALES & WAREHOUSE

Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals with expertise in Plumbing, Heating, and/or Electrical sales. This role combines customer service, sales, and warehouse responsibilities, making it a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior customer service experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer interactions with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Ability to collaborate effectively with employees and management at all levels
- Basic computer skills are required
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- A team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
Responsibilities:
- Take an active role in handling incoming and outgoing counter sales and calls
- Provide expert support on product selection and customer inquiries
- Ensure accurate and prompt handling of customer requests, including order entry, pricing, expediting, and billing
- Assist customers in resolving disputes and warranty claims
- Perform inside counter sales and warehouse duties
- Pick orders, receive transfers, count inventory, make deliveries
- Restock inventory during downtime and assist with unloading delivery trucks as needed

DRIVER - Elmira & Ithaca, NY branches
Position Overview:
We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Drivers at our Elmira and Ithaca branches. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while supporting warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- Must possess a clean driver’s license (CDL is not required)
- Ability to lift heavy objects 50+ lbs
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily deliveries to customers and other branch locations; track using a tablet
- Collect and manage paperwork from branches
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Assist with receiving freight and putting away stock
- Pick orders as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned to support branch operations
Work Schedule:
7:00 to 4:00; Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required.

Outside Sales Representatives – Plumbing/Heating/Electrical Distributor
Locations: Dansville & Ithaca, NY Territories
We are currently seeking three Outside Sales Representatives, one for our Dansville territory and two for our Ithaca, NY territory with expertise in Plumbing/HVAC sales and/or Electrical sales.
Position Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for driven individuals to build relationships with existing customers, develop new business, and represent premium products in your assigned territory.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Plumbing/HVAC or Electrical sales
- Prior business-to-business (B2B) sales experience is required
- Experience selling premium-priced products is preferred
- College degree or equivalent sales experience required
- Prior customer service experience is essential
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Proficiency with mobile devices and basic computer tools
- Ability to handle diverse customer situations with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory
- Conduct face-to-face sales calls with customers
- Document customer interactions before and after each sales call
- Submit daily call reports to the sales manager
- Provide guidance and support on product selection
- Occasionally deliver products to customers
- Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on industry trends and products

8 am to 5 pm; Monday through Friday (hours may vary slightly). Some overtime may be required.
